As anyone with curly hair knows there is one big pesky thing that is hard to get rid off. That's right, frizz. It's the most common question people have about managing curly hair. How do I get rid of frizz?
Well, I'm here to tell you there are a few things you can do to minimize frizz and maximize moisture in your curls. You may have heard these before, but they are essential to frizz-free curls.
Takes Breaks From Using Heat
If your hair gets overheated it can become dehydrated and cause a lot of extra frizz in your curls. Every once in a while take a break from hair dryers and straight irons. Take one day to just got au-naturel! Let your hair air dry and let your curls go wild.
Taking this break will really help your hair absorb the most moisture possible. You can absorb your hair's natural moisture as well as moisture from the products that you use much more easily.
Deep Condition
One way to boost moisture in your curls is to use deep conditioners frequently. Using deep conditioners promotes healthy moisture in your hair and is longer-lasting than your everyday conditioner.

I would recommend using a hair mask or deep conditioner a couple times a week. These products have nutrients that boost strength, shine and moisture.
Don't Overwash Your Curls
You've heard it before, but I'll say it again: Don't shampoo your hair too much! The more that you wash your curls the less moisture your hair will have. Shampoo strips natural oils from your hair, which is a big no-no for curly hair. Curly hair already has such a hard time absorbing natural moisture because of its shape, don't make it worse by overwashing.
Trim Hair Often
It can be a pain to go and get your hair trimmed because it takes time and money, but getting frequent trims will help reduce frizz in your hair. Trimming gets rid of split ends and broken hair that can add to frizziness in your curls.

If you're worried about cost, you can learn how to trim your curls yourself at home!
Style Hair When Wet
This may seem like a hassle, but it's one of the best ways to reduce daily hair frizz. When you put products in your hair when it's dry, or even partially dry, the product doesn't spread and saturate effectively. Instead it stays
Start styling in the shower when your hair is completely wet. This will help the products evenly distribute throughout your curls evenly. It also lets your hair absorb more of the nutrients in your products.
Don't Touch It!
This may seem silly, but the less you touch your hair the better! This tip could really save you from a bad hair day. When you touch your hair it separates strands from the curls and causes frizz. Keeping your hands away from your curls as much as possible is a great way to avoid daily frizz.
